Heavy-Duty Welded Steel Enclosure
A robust, heavy-duty welded steel structure is adopted as the enclosure and chassis of the SOYU plastic shredder. This high-rigidity design eliminates structural resonance and absorbs deep mechanical impacts during high-load shredding, ensuring decades of reliable performance in harsh industrial environments.
Fast Maintenance & Easy Tool-less Access
The machine architecture is meticulously designed to allow for fast and easy cleaning, blade replacement, and routine maintenance. Split-bearing blocks and quick-access panels minimize operational downtime, making material changeovers or knife rotations straightforward for your technicians.

High-Performance Rotor "V" Arrangement Design: The rotor features a specialized "V" knife arrangement with double-sided edge cutters to prevent material build-up and ensure smooth operation. Premium Materials: Rotating blades are crafted from CrMoV high-alloy wear-resistant steel. Multiple configurations and material compositions are available to suit specific waste types. Extended Service Life: The precision-engineered cutters offer an exceptionally long service life and are designed for multiple reuses (indexing) before replacement is required.
	Pusher System Reinforced Baseplate: The heavy-duty reinforced baseplate is engineered to absorb the high impact of bulky materials as they enter the cutting chamber, ensuring structural integrity. Internal Component Protection: A specialized dust sealing and collection device is integrated at the bottom of the pusher system. This prevents debris from entering the internal drive mechanisms, guaranteeing long-term stable performance even in the most demanding environments.
Screen Unit Versatile Configurations: We offer a wide range of screen configurations and mesh sizes, fully customizable to meet specific production and particle size requirements. Safety Interlock: For maximum operator protection, the shredder features an automatic safety-stop function that instantly triggers whenever the screen unit is opened. Modular Design: The screens are produced and mounted in sections, allowing for rapid replacement and easy maintenance of individual parts, significantly reducing downtime.
	Drive Train & Hydraulic System Intelligent Load-Sensing Control: The system features advanced intelligent hydraulic control. For soft or brittle materials, the hydraulic cylinder operates at maximum speed to ensure high throughput. For tough or high-tenacity waste, the system automatically adjusts the pushing speed to prevent rotor overloading, ensuring continuous and safe operation. Integrated Cooling System: To guarantee performance during 24/7 continuous operation, every hydraulic unit is equipped with a high-efficiency cooling system. This effectively maintains optimal oil temperature, significantly increasing the durability and stability of all hydraulic components.

Q1: What materials can the SOYU single-shaft plastic shredder process?

A1: Our single-shaft shredders are specifically engineered for heavy-duty, high-rigidity plastics and bulky technical polymers. This includes heavy extruder purging lumps, startup purges, thick-walled HDPE/PVC pipes, heavy plastic pallets, crates, automotive plastic components, and engineering plastics such as Nylon (PA), ABS, PC, POM, and PBT.

Q2: How do you guarantee the lifespan of the cutting blades when shredding hard plastic lumps?

A2: The rotor knives are manufactured from high-grade D2 (SKD-11) or CrMoV alloy steel, which delivers an exceptional balance of impact toughness and wear resistance. Furthermore, our blades feature a 4-sided indexable design. When one edge becomes dull, your technicians can simply rotate the knife 90 degrees to use a fresh sharp edge, quadrupling the tool lifespan before replacement is needed.

Q3: How is the output particle size controlled in a single-shaft plastic shredder?

A3: Unlike double-shaft models, our single-shaft shredder features an interchangeable bottom sieve screen underneath the rotor cutting chamber. The material stays inside the chamber until it is sheared small enough to pass through the screen mesh holes. We customize the screen mesh size according to your exact downstream granulation or extrusion requirements.

Q4: What happens if a super-hard plastic block causes a material jam or motor overload?

A4: Every SOYU plastic shredder is equipped with an intelligent PLC control system (featuring premium Siemens or Schneider electrical components). If the rotor hits an oversized or un-shreddable block and the motor load exceeds the safe threshold, the PLC automatically triggers a reverse rotation to clear the chamber, then restarts forward cutting. This effectively prevents mechanical damage and drive motor burnouts.

Q5: Can the plastic shredder be integrated into an automated recycling line?

A5: Yes, absolutely. We provide standard standalone units as well as fully customized turnkey recycling solutions. The shredder can be seamlessly integrated with customized infeed conveyor belts, magnetic separators, pneumatic material conveying air aggregates, and downstream fine granulators or pelletizing extruders to achieve a 100% automated recycling workflow.
